What is Invisalign? (Part I)
Invisalign is an alternative treatment to braces to straighten teeth and improve oral health and function. Invisalign treatment consists of a series of smooth, comfortable, BPA free clear plastic aligners which are nearly invisible and removable. These aligners are custom-made specifically for the patient's teeth using x-rays, pictures and impressions to create a precise mould. The aligners are worn over the teeth to gently move and align the teeth. With the aligners being replaced every two weeks, the teeth will gradually move into the final position.
